Selling my Xbox

To make a long story short, I got an Xbox (original) with some accessories -- used, and I intend to sell it along with the accessories and put that money towards a 360, and I just had a few questions, and figured I'd post them to see if anyone can answer them.

First of all, does anyone have an idea of how much it'll sell for? Obviously it would depend somewhat on the condition of the console, but ballpark? (Not including accessories)

Secondly, when I got the Xbox, I also got two controllers and five games (the only good one is Battlefront 1, and even so, I have Battlefront 2 which I like better so I figured I might as well sell them all), and ALSO, in one of the controller slots, there was a little cartridge thing which has the "DVD" logo on the front, and on the back it says "Xbox DVD Movie Playback Kit". Considering I'm not familiar with Xbox, I don't really know what this is and was wondering what it is. The first sensible thing would be that it allows you to play DVDs, but I thought you could do that without any accessories or anything. Granted, I may be mistaken, though.

The DVD thing is an accesory needed to lay and use DVDs, music CDs do not need this, but DVDs do.If you don't have the controll for the DVD, you will need to configure a control to work with the XBox, or get a new one just for it(you still have to "program" it).The DVD system with remote Control is about 15-20$ but that's all I know.
